Humanitas University has over 25 years of educational tradition. WSH was the first non-public higher education institution in Sosnowiec and the second in the Zagłębie region. Humanitas offers 11 fields of study, many specialties, a wide range of postgraduate studies, a doctoral seminar, two MBA studies and LLM studies. The university has 2 foreign branches in the Czech Republic – in Vsetín, where first- and second-cycle studies in psychology are offered, and in Prague, where long-cycle master's studies in psychology are offered. From the academic year 2021/2022, two long-cycle programmes – law and psychology – are also offered in the new branch in Gliwice. In 2022, Humanitas University obtained academic credentials.
