The mission of WSB-NLU is to achieve a unique position in Central Europe by creating an innovative, universal, practising academic organisation, conducting, apart from purely educational and scientific activities, also application, conference, publishing and consulting activities in various thematic areas. An organization not only capable of meeting the challenges of modern times, but also setting standards for the future. The first distinguishing feature of the university is its approach to the student, which is best summed up in the words of Dariusz Woźniak, PhD, Rector of WSB-NLU: "The synergy between Generation Z and the university is an extremely important issue for the proper functioning of both parties. The former learns from the latter, while the latter is the result of striving for perfection in the former." The second distinguishing feature of WSB-NLU is the maximum emphasis on the practical aspects of education. This is possible thanks to the teaching staff composed mostly of employees of companies and institutions from many industries, constant cooperation with employers in the field of patronage over fields of study and conducting classes, as well as the methodology of education based on workshops, case studies and the project method. At WSB-NLU, studies are conducted in Polish and English in the following fields: management, computer science, psychology.
