The Wojciech Korfanty University of Upper Silesia (formerly the Upper Silesian School of Economics) is the oldest non-public university in the Silesian Voivodeship. It was founded in 1991 as the Upper Silesian Private College of Economics. In 2022, it became an academy. The current educational offer of AG includes 13 first- and second-cycle and long-cycle studies, as well as over 60 fields of postgraduate studies, courses and trainings. In order to meet the expectations and needs of the market, AG has enriched its educational offer with studies at the Faculty of Medicine. Since 2006, the Doctoral Seminar has been conducted by her to provide education at third-cycle studies in the discipline of management and quality.
