The Powislanska Academy of Applied Sciences is a university with almost 30 years of experience in the practical education of medical staff and representatives of the world of business and economics. Our Academy has its facilities in Kwidzyn, Gdańsk, Kościerzyn, Toruń and in a moment in Giżycko. Our task is to act locally, for communities that need it – and the model of creating new locations is based on close cooperation between the university, the city and the hospital. The university specializes primarily in educating students in the field of Nursing (first and second degree) and Emergency Medical Services (first and second degree). In 2025, PANS received the status of an Academy as well as a prestigious distinction, which is the first place among vocational universities in Poland – according to the PERSPEKTYWY 2025 ranking.
