SWPS University is the first non-public university in Poland. The didactic offer includes nearly 40 fields of study in the field of social sciences, humanities and arts carried out in five campuses in Poland (Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Sopot and Katowice) with attention to the highest quality of education (three distinguishing grades of the Polish Accreditation Committee for the fields of study) and in cooperation with foreign partners. SWPS University is one of the most active research units in the country, as evidenced by the highest quality ratings for scientific activity (two A+ categories and four A categories obtained by the university's faculties) and high positions among the grantees of the National Science Centre. It is also a centre for the training of scientific staff: the university awards postdoctoral degrees in three disciplines and doctoral degrees in five scientific disciplines.
