The Wojciech Korfanty University of Upper Silesia in Katowice is honored to invite you to participate in the nationwide scientific event "AI Innovation Challenge – seminar and competition for Students and Scientific Clubs", which will take place on December 10, 2025 at the Academy's headquarters at Harcerzy Września 1939 Street No. 3 in Katowice. The event is addressed to students and members of scientific circles from universities throughout Poland. Its aim is to promote an innovative approach to the use of artificial intelligence in various fields of science and social life and to create a space for the exchange of experiences between academia and practitioners from the technology sector. The program of the event includes: A thematic seminar conducted by experts from the AI industry, presenting practical applications of artificial intelligence in medicine, data analysis, industry and technological ethics. An interdisciplinary competition in which five-person student teams will develop projects that solve selected social or technological problems using AI. Presentation of the competition projects in front of a committee composed of representatives of the world of science and business. Attractive material and educational prizes await the winners, including m.in tablets, external drives, training vouchers.
