The University of Lower Silesia DSW has been recognized in the Perspektywy ranking as the best non-public master's degree university in Lower Silesia and one of the most important academic centers in Poland. The University educates at the Faculty of Applied Studies in accordance with international standards based on original and award-winning curricula. The University of Lower Silesia DSW has full academic rights to confer the title of doctor and habilitated doctor. The university's academic teachers are outstanding experts who, as practitioners and specialists cooperating with the university, are its greatest strength. For years, the school has been actively cooperating with its own graduates, which at the same time confirm the high level and practical nature of the studies. The possibility of undertaking foreign studies and internships under the ERASMUS+ program is an undoubted advantage of the University. The university also has an art gallery, an academic theatre, the University of the Third Age of Lower Silesia and its own Conference Centre.

The University is a member of the WSB-DSW Merito Scientific Federation. The WSB-DSW Merito Scientific Federation is the first scientific federation in Poland established under the Law on Higher Education and Science of 2018. It is a research unit that brings together five non-public universities. Its aim is to synergize the scientific potential of the university and the participating units.
